The Bluefire Mobile Security® VPN Software Development Kit addresses the growing demand from enterprises and software integrators for an efficient way to combine secure remote access with mobile applications. The Mobile Security VPN Software Development Kit enables the integration of VPN functionality into virtually any mobile application. Invisible to the end-user, initiation of a secure VPN connection occurs through “auto-launch” deployment with the software application.
The Bluefire Mobile Security® VPN Development Kit provides:
- Header files, API documentation and reference implementation for testing, and offers InstallShield™ extractor installation on the development platform.
- A VPN Driver which installs a binary package via a .cab file with the customer’s VPN application, while an API DLL provides a number of user-friendly functions, including log in to, and retrieval of, policy store session status, registration of connection status callback, establishment and disconnection of the VPN tunnel, and retrieval of connection statistics.
- An optional VPN Client application, installed via a .cab file, which can be used to configure connection settings.
