Bluefire Mobile Security® Solutions Receive Motorola SymbolPLUS Validation

Bluefire's enterprise and government customers assured the highest level of interoperability with Motorola's rugged Windows Mobile 5.0 mobile computers

Baltimore, MD (May 22, 2007) – Bluefire, the leading provider of security solutions for smartphones and wireless devices, today announced that its Mobile Security VPN and Mobile Security Enterprise Edition have received SymbolPLUS validation through completing Motorola’s Solution Validation Program.

Receipt of this validation means Bluefire's security solutions are co-validated with Motorola for use on Motorola's market leading MC9090 rugged mobile computer and MC70 enterprise digital assistant (EDA), ensuring the highest levels of interoperability. These popular rugged EDAs and mobile computers provide everything mobile task workers need to achieve a new level of enterprise productivity, whether at home or in the field.

Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with engineering teams, Mobile Security VPN and Mobile Security Enterprise Edition has been tested and co-validated on select products, including the Motorola MC9090 rugged mobile computer and MC70 EDA. 

The terms of the validation, including disclaimers, are set forth in the test agreement between Motorola and Bluefire and the Mobility Validated Solution Validation Report. Bluefire has been a member of Motorola's PartnerSelect Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program since February 2006.

This validation adds to Bluefire's long list of partner certifications from industry leaders including HP, Palm, Cingular Wireless, Motorola, Verizon Wireless, and Microsoft.
