CEO Of Baltimore-Based Bluefire Security Technologies To Discuss Wireless Security At Smartphone Summit In Orlando

Baltimore, MD (March 21, 2007) � CEO and Co-Founder of Baltimore-based Bluefire Security Technologies will take part in a select panel discussing wireless security at the Smartphone Summit in Orlando, FL on Monday, March 26.� The panel, “Wireless Security: Solutions for Smartphone Devices, Software, Networks & Users,” is part of� CTIA Wireless 2007, the world’s largest technology event dedicated exclusively to wireless, broadband convergence and mobile computing technologies.

As one of the pioneers and leading minds in mobile security, Komisky sees 2007 as a turning point for the wireless industry.

According to the recent Fierce-Wireless Bluefire Wireless Security Survey, 60% of respondents would be willing to pay more for wireless security if it were offered as part of a monthly service plan by a wireless carrier. Nearly 50% of the respondents would pay more to device manufacturers if security was provided.
