BLUEFIRE SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES WINS ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2005 AWARD
Baltimore, MD June 24, 2005 — Bluefire Security Technologies Co-Founder and CEO, Mark Komisky, and Co-Founder and CFO William Clemens have been named co-winners in the Emerging Company category of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 Award in Baltimore, Maryland. Komisky and Clemens were named finalists by professional services firm Ernst & Young, LLP. Bluefire was selected by a panel of judges made up of local community and business leaders.

Maryland winners will be eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 national program. Winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California in November 2005.
