BSAFE® Enables Bluefire to Deliver Data Encryption at Government Mandated Levels Across its Product Line
Baltimore, MD February 14, 2005 — Bluefire Security Technologies announced today that it has partnered with RSA Security (NASDAQ: RSAS) to provide Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)140-2 Level 1 encryption protection for its mobile security products.
RSA Security’s BSAFE® encryption software allows Bluefire to offer government-validated encryption capabilities across its product line including the only commercially available virtual private network (VPN) designed specifically for mobile devices with FIPS 140-2 Level 1 encryption.
