Who

Tom Goodman, vice president of operations and representative to CTIA’s Wireless Internet Caucus Leadership Council for Bluefire Security Technologies.

Prior to joining Bluefire, Goodman was the director of security and risk management for Aether Systems, where he was responsible for both internal and client security issues and was the co-leader of Aether’s Homeland Security initiatives. A 20-year security veteran, Goodman has held several other senior management positions throughout his career, covering policy, technology and national defense.

Goodman will be available to discuss the impact of handheld security on carriers and to demonstrate Bluefire’s Mobile Firewall Plus solution, the first firewall, intrusion prevention, authentication, encryption and integrity management software developed specifically for mobile devices.
